The Snowpocalypse is here!!!
#11
If you saw the Super Bowl yesterday, you know the weather has been beautiful here. Woke up this morning to 49, got up to low 70s, now about 68 or 70, and expected to only go down to the mid 60s tonight. Tomorrow's high expected to be about 79 or so but another cool front coming through with some rain later tomorrow night and cooling down by Thursday.

This is the best time of year in Florida but the fronts keep bouncing back and forth -- a little warm up, then some cooling. You get the picture.

Sure beats the heat and humidity we live through in August through October.

We only got about 8 inches on Saturday, and it had melted down to about 3 or 4 inches by last night, now we have about 6 more and they say the worst is still to come. The worst part is I am stuck here in all this snow. I am tired of cold and SNOW:puke:
I want to go where there is green and warmth and water. I just heard there is another storm expected Monday night into Tuesday. Mo school today means no pay for me (and I was promised this day a month ago. no school tomorrow( a good possibility if this white $hit doesn't stop until midnight. No school friday or Monday Presidents weekend. Possibility of no school Tuesday if it snows again(another day I was promised a month ago. That means I stuck around this freezing snow mess to make at least $210 dollars I won't be able to make now. I should have just gone to Florida and skipped the whole mess!!!!

Part of my bad mood might be attributable to the fact that I have My 3 kids and 5-6 of their friends stuck here with my husband and I. That is 10-11 people and ONE bathroom:toetap:

So is this what cabin fever sounds like?

How do you deal with it?

We get rain that keeps us in for days and that is bad enough -- but you can go out in it if you really want to.

So sorry you are all going through this all over again.

It is snowing like crazy here. Nothing is moving. I can barely see my sons car in front of the house.

I tried to add a picture, but it won't load

This winter has officially been declared the "snowiest" in the DC area since weather records have been kept. Today, we surpassed the existing record in, I believe, 1892.

Bah! Library! Bah! You have the internet! The world is at your fingertips!
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree
Master of Education with a specialty in Rabbit-specific destructive munitions (or eLearning & Technology, I forget which)
Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully
