FEMA Courses

rickyjo Wrote:Turn around for the transcripts is very quick, and free! I'd say a week, maybe slightly more.

As for taking the classes, you can do it in a week, maybe two, but if you are motivated I'd say one.

rickyjo, thank you for the info again. I'm just waiting for TESC's list now to figure out which ones I'm going to take.

I took all 25 that TESC accepts(two of them mysteriously disappeared from the site.. Sad ) in a month. My sister got her degree in emergency management, and I'm involved in CERT(http://www.citizencorps.gov/cert/), which she leads. So I already had a bit of experience with the subject matter. But I found myself completing them in about 1 hr for the easy ones, to maybe a 6 for the really tough ones(plus it was the holidays, so I probably wasn't concentrating very well Tongue). In my opinion, these are great free credits, and I'm glad I'm using them for my free electives. Also, my turnaround varied, from 3 business days to 5 minutes. My average was probably half a day or so.

I received it from TESC this summer. It is the most current to my knowledge.
