She is graduating next month from COSC. 16 years and 4 months old.
She has been accepted to an online teacher certification course ABCTE and will also be taking her M.Ed. with teacher certification from Grand Canyon University.

My gift is going to come after I get my PhD, so it is a ways off. However, once I am graduated and have a job in a lab (I cannot wait!), my gift to myself is going to be a Shagya Arabian horse! Not that I do not adore my Thoroughbred, but I have ALWAYS wanted an Arabian, and Shagyas are even better than your standard Arabian for what I want to do.
I am waiting until I am totally done with my degree, though, a I do not have time to ride and care for two horses while going to school! Plus school tends to stem the cash flow.
PROGRESS: Last semester and accepted into a PhD program!

It's been nearly a month and a half since I started this thread. Excelsior received my final Dantes score last Thursday, and once that's evaluated it's on to the graduation process.
And I still haven't decided on a celebratory gift!

I had told myself that when I finished my AS I would give myself a spa day to get a massage, manicure and pedicure. I graduated in April and I still haven't done it. I'm spending all my extra money on exams and more school now that I decided to go back and get my BSHS, now I have also decided to do my BSLS while I wait for EC to offer my core classes for my BSHS. But my birthday is around the corner so I may splurge and do the spa day just because I deserve it. I will turn 46 so I think I deserve to celebrate going back to school at age 45 and if all goes well getting two degrees in 6 months time! Ok, now that I have day dreamed I'm off to work on finishing my BSLS and to do my homework for a class for my BSHS. You all have made this addicting since I just wanted to get the AS degree done, now I'm looking at graduate schools and some graduate certificates to add to that! You have turned me into the education monster so I guess I do need that spa day after all! I wouldn't want to be an ugly scary monster!

Good question. I hadn't even thought about getting myself a graduation gift, other than a nice frame to offset the cheap-looking Excelsior diploma. Now, of course, I want a present! I've set my budget at $240 to match the cost of 3 DSSTs, but that's it so far. Never thought spending money would be so difficult. :p
Has anyone made plans for a touch of self-indulgence after all the hard work is done?
After my grad degree a house for my children to call their own with a dog is my gift to them and wave runners for me.

I had planned on a REAL vacation. You know, someplace like a resort where they treated you like royalty, and you are not related to anyone (visitng family is nice, but not a vacation). I never had a one like that.
However, I was unemployed for most of 2008; I'm working now, but for less money. Sooo, no vacation. Maybe next year. I'm thankful to have any job right now.
