Done with BS from EC! Thanks everyone!
#1
I'm done.
Yesterday I passed my last exam: A&I Lit with the score of 70 and finished with my requirements for the BS in Liberal Arts degree. At 48 I finally killed the beast. Started last November. 40 credits later, thanks to you folks! - finished.
No financial aid, no company reimbursement, all by myself and this excellent forum support.
A note for those who are about to start: if you have and want to tranfer any credits to EC, keep it in mind that once you have those credits evaluated, you have ONE month to decide if you want to keep any of them. I didn't know about that and all my Microsoft certification along with one computer course ended up in the "Non-Applicable Courses & Exams" section of the transcript.
Well anyway, while I'm waiting for EC to update my transcripts and approve me for graduation, I decided to take a minute and thank everyone whose advice, links, and especially very motivating postings made it come true.

Thanks to ZEFRENCH for pointing into the right direction with ACTFL OPI. Your help was invaluable Smile

Thanks to all who shared info on Penn Foster - Information Literacy and English WER thread here and here, particularly MAPALO and ShotoJuku.

Thanks to the InstantCert. I wish I found them earlier.

Thanks to all forum members who shared their life stories, their devotion and determination, achievements and hopes.
Good luck to all of you.

Congratulations!

I didn't receive any EC messages with notifications for the final evaluation or graduation approval. Start checking your status in MyEC once you're notified of the transcript receipt (I was checking daily, of course!) - otherwise you might not know you're officially approved until the big envelope arrives in the mail. It will be followed by a little one with the $495 invoice. :p
