I took a FEMA test, and then noticed this on
their site:
"The Independent Study test submissions and course registration processes are unavailable. Tests submitted since 2 July 2009 are being held until this system issue can be resolved. EMI Distance Learning is working to resolve the issue quickly, once resolved students will receive completion notifications and certificates for courses they have completed during this time."
Does anyone know what this means? Will I not get a score until the system is back up? Should I not take any tests until it's up and running?
Thanks!

My daughter submitted a FEMA exam two weeks ago, resubmitted it last week, and resubmitted it again yesterday because she never received any response at all from them. She did finally receive her email confirming that she passed this afternoon. Hopefully, that means they have fixed the problem. I would go ahead and submit an exam.

Thank you! What do you mean by "resubmit"? Take the exam again? Is there a way to just resubmit the done test? Thank you again for your time!

She had saved her printed out copy of the final exam with her circled answers so when she hadn't heard back from them in a week she just clicked the take exam button again and put her previous answers in a second time.
You're welcome!

Back on the 7 July 2009, I submitted an exam, and haven't gotten an confirmation email yet.
Would you advise re-submitting? What was the date of her results? Maybe it just took some time to sift through the system.
Cheers.

I don't think it is necessary to resubmit it. She only did it because she didn't know the system was down and thought maybe she might have made a typo in the personal information section.

I got results from one of the tests I took yesterday, so I guess the system is working to some extent. I'm still waiting for an email on the second test I took yesterday.
