How to fulfill standard requirements?
#1
I still have to fulfill my standard prerequisites but it's difficult to do it while overseas. I plan on taking them when I return this summer for 4 weeks.

I really appreciate your suggestions on what I should take:
- I need 9 social science credits- can I do all psychology?

- What would be the easiest credits under Science? I need about 6 credits I believe for TESC and I'm not sure which CLEP/DSST they will accept.

- The killer is the Math credit - I've signed up with ALEKS but that seem really difficult for me. I'm amazed at how fast everyone has gone through it.

So I really, really need your advice on the fastest/easiest exams so that I can get one step closer to getting my degree.

Thanks so much!!

You should be able to complete all of your GenEd (general education) requirements with both CLEP and DSST exams.

Every college sets its own requirements, but TESC is pretty typical in that each of the distribution areas must be completed by at least two different subjects. In other words, fulfilling the natural science/math distribution requires that you take chemistry and calculus, geology and biology, or some other combination - if you take only math courses and no natural sciences, you have not fulfilled the distribution.

For TESC's social sciences distribution, you'll need to combine psychology with at least one other subject. Your CLEP/DSST choices include sociology, economics (both macro and micro), history, anthropology, law enforcement, criminal justice, and American government.

I'm really desperate for any advice from this amazing forum.

Has anyone taken these exams to be used for science credits at TESC?:

Astronomy
Environment and Humanity: The Race to Save the Planet
Here's to Your Health

Don't know what else to take since everything else seem so difficult to pass.

Thanks a lot you guys!

Did you already take the Natural Science CLEP? That is a shallower science CLEP!
