I found both US History I and US History II easier than Western Civ I. I am taking Western Civ II on Friday and I think there is much more material that you will need to know for Western Civ versus US History.

The US Histories are both easier because the scope is much narrower. And I personally found US History I easier because I personally have studied much more about the 1700s and 1800s than I have about the 1900s.
