clep educational psychology

anyone have any advice in regards to the clep educational psychology. I have a little background in psychology will this help and will IC be enough to pass?

The Specific Feedback board has a perfect list of what you need to know for this exam. If you have had Human Growth and Development you will find that a lot overlaps. There are some specific questions that you can not just wing and they love to ask the different types of teaching, behavior modifications etc. You can not take this exam cold or with just a good feeling.

The REA book was great and as always the IC notes brought it all together. Pay the $10 a month for the IC membership so you can see the Specific Feedback on this and other exams.

Psych. is the foundation for Sociology, Ed. Psych., and Human Growth and Dev. There is a lot of overlap with all of them. Ed. Psych. just applies the principles of Psych. to teaching.
I think you should be fine. IC does a really good job preparing you. If I had to suggest 1 other book, I'd say the REA Guide for Ed. Psych. They have a lot of good info. and have a CD with 3 pract. tests. That way you can take 3 pract. exams before you even touch the Official CLEP Guide.
