Criminal Justice - Excelsior or TESC?
#1
Hello All,

I was previously active on this forum a year or two ago and am just getting back to taking tests. Have about 36 credits by exam, and plan to pursue Criminal Justice from Excelsior (leaning toward EC).

Does anyone have experience with either one of EC or TESC Criminal Justice programs? What would you recommend?

Can anyone help with a degree plan of tests that would need to be taken a EC? Any advise or "Don't step there!" remarks?

Thank you in advance, y'all.

It appears that the Criminal Justice degree from TESC does not require any upper level courses. You can take the 2 Dantes tests and then almost all the other courses for the degree from Penn Foster.

Does anyone have an Excelsior or TESC Criminal Justice degree plan already drafted?

EC is the way to go with the CJ, they are a lot more flexible and you can test out of more with EC exams. You will need to submit a research paper at least 8 pages or more or, take the class(Upper Level Research). TESC is not to bad for their BA you can take most of the classes at Penn Foster for Credit and Tesc will take them.
My opinion, I like EC better, more flexible,

I agree. Seems like they're lots of CJ majors who go with TESC. Must be a reason
