I heard lot of people saying that clep business law is like really easy. However I found it really difficult. I took the peterson test one and only score 50 out of 100. OMG. I am taking this CLEP next Monday and I lost confidence. I feel like I am beat up. I am really freaking out. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1. Relax!
2. This exam is NOT hard but you must be prepared and take your time - "Slow and Steady - Wins the Race."
3. You MUST develop a proven an effective method of study - "Studying is much like Boiling Water, if it is not Heated Constantly it will Once Again Become Cold Water."
4. Incorporate the 5-R's into your way of thinking - "The 5 R's of Study: Repetition - Re-Enforces - Recognition - Recall - Retention."
5. Use more than a single study resource - "REA Books, Comex Books, Pass Your Class Guides, Standard Deviants DVD's, Petersons Practice Exams, Dummies Books, Idiot's Guides."
6. See number one and don't forget to - "Pray!!"

Definitely study, I took this test yesterday and shamefully I did not pass. My problem was that I did not come prepared as I should have. More time studying and IC would have surely given me a passing grade.
Study study study.. I will take it again in the summer and I expect to pass. It's not a hard test at all if you are prepared.

What's easy for one is hard for another. The key is to prepare properly. As ShotoJuku suggested...RELAX. It's tough to study when you allow yourself to become overwhelmed and tense.
Best of luck to you.

Thank you so much for your post. I think I will be doing fine if I just review the mistakes on the peterson test as well as reread the REA book. I still have one day to study.
of course ,like you say "relax".

One of the best books - in my opinion -- is Barron's Introduction to Business Law. At the end of each chapter they have scenarios at the end of each chapter -- but it also explains what the correct answer is, and why that answer is the best choice. If you can find a copy at your local library or bookstore, I recommend it. I know you're short on time, but if you have a chance to look it over, it's extremely helpful. I also recommend the chapters on contracts.
I hope this is helpful. Best of luck to you. If you're doing well on IC & Peterson's you should be fine.
Cleps:
Introduction Business Law 65
Principles of Management 70
Principles of Marketing 71
A&I Literature 68
American Lit 59
Educational Psychology 68
Social sciences & history 65
Western Civilization I 64

On IC there are some scenarios about check payable ,forgers..I am just wondering if the related questions will be on the real test.
