Any updates on the course?

I'm in the last bits of another Master degree so I've slowed down my classes but I'm halfway through this degree at Elmwood too. It's mainly the same in every course. Read and watch material, take a quiz, do a few essay/research articles, and it may or may not have a final. There's a good bit of writing for the majority of the courses but its graduate work so that's expected. With me working full time and going to a different grad school full time I can still complete a course a month without worry. Sometimes you have to wait a few days or even a week or so on grading, but it doesn't hold you up very much. I do see more classmates but there is no group assignments or interactions. It's very much you going it alone through the material. This is great for some (like me) but may not be the experience others want.

Do you know what the final assignment is? Is it an essay, thesis or quiz? How much writing is there; how many words per essay? How long do you think it will take you to complete? I work full time too, but would like to do this.

If I weren't already in a master's program I could have done 3 classes a month.
Papers are anywhere between 5 and 15 pages long. It will take me under a year to complete but I could have done it in 4 months. I don't know what you mean by "final assignment", each course ends with a final exam or writing submission.

Tuition pricing hasn't changed, still shows as $900 as per their tuition fees webpage. This is a good deal for those who are residents in the approved states mentioned on their webpage as well. I mean, you can't go wrong with a DEAC (NA) Masters at $900, some of these credits can be transferred to another program if you need to, possibly some RA institutions would accept them...

I am half way through as well. Like TINASAM said, you can move along quickly if you're able to focus a lot of energy into it. Some days I am able to work at a good pace and others I can't get in because work has me bogged down. Interaction with the staff has been pretty good any time I've had an issue too. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied and it will check some boxes I need for moving up the chain with my current employer.

Hope the course is going well still. Think I may apply… but I have UK qualifications- has anyone done this? |
