Gender is a demographic and it's unambiguously clear to science and widely known to the general public that gender and gender-related factors are huge determinants of cardiovascular health e.g., men are at higher risk than women of coronary heart disease, while post-menopausal women are at higher risk than pre-menopausal women of cardiovascular disease.

Similar data as showing that gender is a factor in cardiovascular health show that race is a factor in cardiovascular health.

It looks like there's more to study here. In a 2023 Danish study in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, "The association between occupational physical activity and ischaemic heart disease was different among men and women. High physical activity at work was associated with around 45% higher risk of ischaemic heart disease in men, but with around 65% lower risk in women."

Not because of age. It's due to hormone changes which cause a number of issues in women's bodies. Hormones regulate so many things in the body. All women do not experience peri-menopause and menopause at the same age. Both also last many years - can be over 10 years!

It's not easy to keep this thread on topic without it devolving into Trump trolling, Elon trolling, or personal attacks.

Trying to get everyone to agree on $500 billion worth of cuts to the federal government is, to say the least, a monumental challenge.

However, there are some areas where both sides might find common ground, such as:

1. Making some defense cuts.
   
   
2. Reducing fraud, improper payments, and improving auditing oversight.
   
   
3. Using technology to increase efficiency.

Yes, that's true. My cholesterol is way higher than my wife's. The doctor said that estrogen removes cholesterol from the blood. After menopause, that advantage goes away, and then genetics takes over. Maybe any MD's here can confirm.
