Walk Toward the Light Joe
#1
The debate was pretty much a disaster.  Laying the groundwork for an ouster at the convention.  The Democrats would have never presented Biden to the public unless it was the only way to get rid of him.

Joe is about to the point where he can see dead people.

Some more humor

If you had to pick a Democrat or a Republican, a Joe Biden or Donald Trump, gun to your head, who would you vote for?

So Donald Trump dies and goes to hell and when he gets there he meets the devil and the devil says...

I have refrained from commenting on politics on this forum.
I'm exercising an exception here.
I take no joy in President Biden's failure last night. It was a sin to have put him on stage, though I credit him for entering the arena. Robert Hur's report should have been a warning to the President's handlers.

That said, I'm not tired of winning.

OK: back to refraining

I legit felt bad for him. But Kamala is unlikeable and Gavin Newsom gives off used car salesman vibes.

Dems are screwed.

I agree, I think it was a set up from the last given how early this debate was.

I skimmed through the entire debate on YouTube in under 30 minutes. Neither candidate said anything new.

The betting odds before the debate were 10% that Biden wouldn't be the Democratic nominee. The odds went to 40% after the debate! Source

Another interesting thing I wonder is whether the MSM is turning on Joe Biden.

Sad
President Biden said - only the Lord Almighty can tell him to end his reelection campaign.

Each year, I am required to complete a CDC course, Concussion training. Rule number one: Never return a concussed competitor to the field of play until after they have fully recovered, despite their protestations.

I fully expected ABC to edit last night's interview in order to present a favorable  image of President Biden. They did not. I don't know if that was even possible

This tragedy is nearing its end game. It's painful to watch. Whether I like him or not, Joe Biden is my President.

Whatever his problem, I suspect it's worse than a concussion. I don't know if he will ever fully recover. I am certain of this: It's WRONG for his handlers to keep sending him out on to the field. Have they no compassion? Sad

The mainstream media (MSM) is now throwing Biden under the bus. It used to be that Biden had full protection from the media, similar to how North Korean propaganda only says favorable things about its leader.

CNN, once known as the king of fake news, actually fact-checked Biden after the debate. We all know fact-checks usually only go one way.
https://twitter.com/BRICSinfo/status/180...6085309938

MSNBC host Katy Tur corrected Nancy Pelosi to her face when Pelosi attempted a lie by omission, claiming Trump had the worst job loss of any president.

The question is, why?

Perhaps the recent boycotts by the right have made people fear them more than the left. Maybe there is less financial support for the left. Or perhaps the radical agenda of the woke left is starting to irritate everyone.

Something has changed.

Powerful Democratic backers to pause donations until Joe Biden steps aside

BTW, currently, there is only a 40% chance that Biden will win the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination. Kamala is higher at a 45% chance.

Yet another exception to my abstinence from political commentary on this forum:

1. I think President Biden performed pretty well last night, despite a few gaffes.

2. I saw some return to the old tall tale-telling Joe Biden particularly the one about his special relationship with Golda Meir. A tale that was debunked by CNN in 2021. I love this stuff. I hope to see more of it, like the theft of Neil Kinnock's speech, and how Roger Staubach took his place at the Naval Academy.  I love when  Joe gets into his Bull Shitter  mode.

3.Humor is always a winner. I love when he said - “Where has Trump been, riding around on his golf cart, filling out his score card before he hits the ball? He's done virtually nothing.”  Big Grin

I'm praying for his good health. I hope he continues to improve and is allowed to remain the nominee of Democratic Party. God bless President Biden. Heart Heart Heart

Biden still has only 40% odds of winning the Democratic nomination, so that speech didn't help him. If anyone thinks Biden will win the nomination, they can place a money bet, and the odds are that they will more than double their money if Biden wins.

The question now is, who controls the Democrat party?  Does the media control them, or does the Democrat party control themselves? It's a power struggle.

Also, will donor pressure be the ultimate factor in deciding if Biden quits?

I take no joy in President Biden's bad days. However, I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I was having fun watching the Democratic Party family feud.

I sincerely hope that President Biden returns to full strength, and is allowed to remain the nominee.

Can you imagine the caterwauler if they try to strip him of his delegates.

How could that be Democratic? Rolleyes
