Accepted TEEX Courses

Hi Everyone,

I can't remember who it was, but I was asked to update the forum when I knew which TEEX courses would be accepted so the wiki could be updated. I did all the TEEX courses that showed as counting towards ACE credits (25 credits) plus 15 credits for the Google IT Professional cert for a total of 40 credits. I saw in some places that the Google cert only counted for 12 credits at UMPI, but it is 15. At least for me and I don't think I'm special :-).

Part of the issue is that UMPI changes their mind on several of these credits often. No idea why they just don't stick with something.

Could it be that my resume had something to do with it? I’m pretty technical having achieved some tough-to-get certs over my 25 years. Who knows…

The Google IT Support was reevaluated by ACE from 12 to 15 last year. It probably just took a while for UMPI to update their recommendations.

Nope. Your resume has nothing to do with transfer credit. Everyone gets the same credits for the ACE courses. ACE does periodically review and alter the recommendations which appears to be what happened with the Google certificate. In the past, UMPI didn't give the full amount of credit anyway as it's just a recommendation.
