Hi folks. I've been looking to apply for different programs, but I've stuck with one thing, and I think I am not the only one.
As an international student with specific situation, there is absolutely no way I can get my High School send transcripts to a U.S. university. Well, I can send the digital copies on my own - but never in this life my HS will send them as they usually wish.
What are the universities that accept you without High School/GED/etc transcripts?
Possible scenarios:
- Accepted for first degree without HS/GED/etc transcripts
- Accepted for second degree if you have an Associate/Bachelor which you send transcripts for, but no HS/GED/etc needed
- Accepted for a degree if you transfer Sophia/SDC, no HS/GED/etc needed
I can mention SNHU. I was not yet admitted because I have some questions to them and I still collect credit, but I am in the process at least. I wrote a simple affidavit mentioning the high school I studied in and that I swear that it's true. I don't know if they are going to admit me later though, 'cause it's a mess... as in almost every university.
Maybe we could use this thread to somewhat sum up the experience on this topic? Anybody has their experience?

Most of the institutions we discuss on this forum care very little about high school transcripts. They care even less if you already have a significant amount of college credit at application time.

That's correct, I would recommend applying to the ones you're interested in, be it SNHU or the others such as Excelsior, TESU, UMPI, etc. You may want to be on the safe side and review their requirements on their respective websites though...

That's why I created this thread - I check the requirements and do DYOR
There was one person on this forum who struggled with UMPI because who could not get his HS transcripts.
TESU - they write that you have to possess HS. I am not sure if you send those to them or just write affidavit - it's not mentioned on website. That's why I created this thread, if anybody has the same experiences and share knowledge who they worked that out. It's quite embarrassing to spend weeks talking to people at the university and then get the answer which does not work - especially when you could not google the answer and not waste time on the university which wouldn't work out anyway - especially considering difference in transfer subjects...

I was never asked for my HS transcripts for either Pierpont or Texas A&M - Commerce (TAMUC). Both saw that I had RA credit and used that instead of asking for them.

Purdue Global - Masters in Cybersecurity
TAMUC - BAAS Organizational Leadership

When you have an associates or 60+ credits, most if not some, will disregard the high school requirements...

Neither Charter Oak (which I would not recommend) nor TESU asked for my high school transcript. I think you'd bepretty safe at TESU.

TESU also never asked me for any high school related documentation, though that was a few years ago and I brought in many college (RA&ACE) credits. Pierpont did ask but waived the requirement after seeing my many college credits.

My cousin applied to UMPI before the deadline and received the following emails recently in regards to transcripts. They took ASU UL classes when they were just $99 each when there was a special a few years ago. And also took TECEPs previously and recently due to their offerings... Strangely, they were asked for high school transcripts. UMPI should waive the high school transcript request if the prospective student has an associates degree. My cousin is in Canada and doesn't have an associates degree. They sent all their college credits, etc to UMPI and waiting for a final decision...

UMPI requires high school transcripts unless you already have a degree. So if one has a Pierpont associate degree PRIOR to applying to UMPI, you're waived. I imagine that Pierpont wants those high school transcripts though.
