I just took the Ethics DSST last night. I feel I did good enough to pass, but it will be close. There were 93 multiple choice questions, and then the essay, which the testing center I took the test at had no idea if I had to do the essay or not. I vaguely remembered reading here somewhere that TESC didn't require the essay, so I didn't do it.
All the philosophers in the IC flashcards were on the test, plus some. I feel the flashcards were enough to let me pass, which is all I was shooting for, so wish me luck!

So, the revised DSST sounds much harder than the original. Too bad I didn't know about these tests a year ago, lol.

Oh, and I am looking at the DSST sample questions -- they list a big fat total of *3* samples... what's up with that? How can someone get a good feel for the test with 3 questions??

How much time did you spend studying for this particular exam? Also - was this a computer-based test? Most of my DSST exams have been computer based, but I was curious about yours. (mainly because you din't get your score right away!)
