Hi All,
I received a notice by snail mail to pay my $130 student fee. I'm ready to pay but cannot get access to my Pierpont student account.
I've never been able to access to my Pierpont student account because I never received a snail mail or email letter with my login info. I have requested this info by email from student services several times. They sent my user ID but nothing else - despite my explaining that I ever received the initial login letter with each attempt to communicate with them.
The user ID and password I created for my student orientation no longer work to access the Pierpont website.
This isn't a ding against student services thread but I needed to explain what I have tried and why I cannot access my account.
I've searched the Pierpont website for instructions on how to accomplish this. No luck there, either.
Would someone kindly share the website where we go for our initial login?
Will our user ID and our student number be adequate for the initial login?
Thanks in advance!

Your initial password is your student number, the one that starts with the R and a series of numbers.

@JG_NUY Thank you for sharing this info.
Unfortunately my email to IT Support bounced back saying my message wasn't delivered due a domain issue. I'm only now seeing the second "i" in Pierpont. LOL - it was probably an auto-correct thing.
I also called several times and never got a response.
Good info, none-the-less.
Thank you!

When I applied about a month ago, both I and my listed emergency contact received two emails from no-reply@pierpont.edu about ten days after submitting the application. The first contained my new Pierpont username & email address, and the second contained my temporary password (which was my student ID number). At that point, I was able to login to the portal after going through a process to setup a real password and other account security measures.
Several days ago, I received an acceptance letter in the mail, which noted some additional details they wanted me to resolve regarding my transcripts.
While I can access the portal and Outlook, I have never been able to get into ROAR or any of the degree planning tools. Clicking the links in the portal results in HTTP error pages. There are no relevant messages in my Outlook emails.

BJCheung, Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, that didn't work.

BJCheung, Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, that didn't work. Pierpont has like a 2 tier login system for new students. When you first get your ID starting with the R, you enter a student orientation account and complete watching all the videos. It takes around 1 hour.
Once that is complete, you call the phone number pasted in the welcome letter that says what your ID number is. Call them before 1 pm Eastern US time because the IT staff leave early. When an IT staff answers the phone, say your name and R student number. They quickly create a new account ID for the my.pierpont page with a temporary password.
I hope you get to log in soon. This part of the process is a bit difficult, but I guarantee everything becomes much easier afterwards.

The new student setup process at Pierpont seems to vary wildly from student to student. I did not have to do many of the things that other people have mentioned: I didn't have to call to set up my account, I received the emails and letter, I didn't need to do the orientation, etc. However, I still can't do some other things like access ROAR.

My solution to this was to call Student Accounts to pay my bill by phone.
Everyone at Pierpont has been so awesome. It's been a lovely experience.
Btw, I was told by someone else at Pierpont that they are transitioning to a new IT group so if you don't get your initial login credentials, give them a call and I'm sure you will be treated as wonderfully as I was!
Even though I have an email that states it is my Login Info and I watched the orientation and followed the instructions months ago, as well as I tried all the advice in this thread, I could never login until I called an unsuspecting hero in Student Accounts who went waaaay beyond the scope of her job. MANY KUDOS!!!

Yes, please get in contact with their help desk if you're having issues that can't be completed without receiving your login details. Mine was sent by email and I didn't have to follow up with anyone... It was very easy to work with, Pierpont is awesome, nice staff too...
