In the various degree plans I've found on here (which have been super helpful, so thank you to those who put them together!), I keep seeing that "most" upper level credit has to be completed at UMPI.
Is there a specific number of UL credits I need to take there?
Current Goal:
UMPI: B.L.S. with minor in Educational Studies
I'm 73% through my degree!
Earned: 88 credits total
RA: 3 credits
Sophia: 76 credits
Study.com: 6 credits
UMPI: 3 credits

9 have to be done at UMPI. It’s in their catalog. Still need to meet the major requirements overall obviously.

Don't pay strict attention to the catalog. The catalog is (almost) entirely for on-campus students and not YourPace students. It's good for general GEC guidance and not much else. That said, I think 9 would be about right. Though there might be a degree or two where students would need to take 12+ UL credits at UMPI?

At least 30 credits must be taken at UMPI
At least 12 credits in the major/minor must be taken at UMPI
At least 9 UL credits in the major/minor must be taken at UMPI

Sometimes this is enforced and sometimes it's not. It seems kind of random.

Very random.
I had to take only 2 classes in the minor, 1 LL and 1 UL. Everything else transferred in.
I asked about others I would need to take to meet that requirement and was told it didn't require it.
Don't know why.

@Tswede - I suspect the main reason was because you completed a BAS, which is not officially a YourPace option, rather than one of the UMPI YourPace BA or BLS offerings. You end up completing it through YourPace by choosing one of the YourPace minors to your BAS 'AOS'. The UMPI BAS has very different rules and criteria than the standard YourPace degree options.

Yeah I have no idea how they decide this because I did have to complete 12 minors credits at UMPI and 9 UL credits in my first minor at UMPI along with 13 of my 24 UL credits had to be completed at UMPI for my BLS which it seems like this is no longer an issue. Jessica tells some students these numbers so who knows how they decide what or who it applies to.
