DEGREE PLAN HELP PLEASE!

Ok, I think umpi is barely opening up my transcripts right now I sent 4 there way fri evening. Can someone please help me on the rest of the easiest Sophia classes that I need to take. Because I’m scared to take a Sophia class for no reason lol

It will take a few weeks for the U of M system to process your application. Once you're accepted, then UMPI will evaluate your transcripts which takes a few more weeks. Nothing is fast at UMPI. It's a very SMALL school. Patience is key! Review the post dfecore made. She gave you what you need on Sophia now.

If I were you, I'd apply at UMPI for the BLS/Mgmt degree and send in your transcripts; then, I'd enroll at Sophia and take the following:
Sociology
Spanish I
Ethics
American Government
Business Communication

Send that transcript to UMPI, and then enroll in the Fall I term.

You need to take 10 courses at UMPI:
4 remaining courses in the major
hands-on art
5 add'l courses (I'd prob choose the ProjMgmt minor which has 3 courses in common with Mgmt so 3 add'l courses) and then 2 add'l courses in whatever you want. You may be required to take more UL courses, since the Mgmt & PM minors only have 5 UL courses between them.

The problem isn't how many credits, it's how many will apply to the degree.  So even if you had 1000cr, it wouldn't matter - you'll have to take 30cr at UMPI, and you have to meet the GEC requirements.  So, counting backwards, looks like 75cr apply to the degree, leaving 15cr to take for the GEC, and 30cr at UMPI.

@bvndz, please review the entire thread, follow the advice to complete the remaining Sophia.org courses and transfer them in, your final 30 credits are all done at UMPI

i received my degree progress report and transfer credit report on on my student portal but i havent received an email from jessica yet. Is my report on student portal accurate or should i wait for jessica? can you guys help me evaluate my report please? which report would you guys like me to send?

@bvndz, place the evaluation reports into your google or one drive, link us to it, just make the file viewable and not editable. Oh, for privacy reasons, also edit the file so it doesn't show your personal details. Basically, once we see the attached file or link to the file, we can review and comment on what is required. It's best to have all evaluations and reports, in case there may be discrepancies...

You should email Jessica tomorrow. She should complete a degree evaluation form for you. In the past, MaineStreet has not been accurate for YourPace students. That may be changing with the move to Brightspace. They've been working on fixing this issue.

@bvndz, I'm letting you know it's not working, the reason is you've done something extra or have something incorrect... This is what you've done, you have a document with three hyperlinks to your UMPI MainStreet account... And you've shared that file with us, that won't work as none of our moderators or senior members can access your account to view any documents/links that are within your account. We don't want to have access to your account either...

That's the mix up, we don't want to log into anything, we want a pdf or screenshot of your evaluation and that's it. You need to log into your UMPI Mainstreet and take screenshots of the entire evaluation, whatever else you have, since you linked 3 things, and save the picture as a file to your google/one drive. Instead of having them added as links to a file, you want to share these with us as viewable/non editable links to your drive, that's the basics to it...
