Why is DegreeForum so SLOW lately?

Comcast is just an example, I don't know who LiquidWeb uses... But yeah, it's going to be on both provider ends, not just a server related issue

DF is fast on my end so it's hard to recreate the problem.

If the problem is occurring at certain times of the day, maybe it's a server load issue.

I've set up a testing forum, and it runs just as fast as DF.

I don't doubt that people are having issues; though, at least on my end, things seem fine. I am curious about what is causing some users to experience slow load times.

Load times have been acceptable for the past ~12 hours. Now that it's mid-morning/early afternoon in the US, load times are somewhere between 10-30 seconds per page again.

High ping times partly due to VPN (first 4 hops are VPN), but I'm not having problems with other sites not loading.

For me, the forum seems to be running pretty quickly and smoothly. Yesterday, I was able to see intermittent periods of slowness. I will continue opening the forum periodically today to see if I can replicate the problem. I'm not sure if the ping printouts you guys have provided really show anything since I'm not seeing the liquidweb stops taking any longer than other stops in the route.

Load times are increasing again and the pages are sometimes just not loading both with and without VPN.

It's actually marginally better/faster with VPN than without. With VPN, the only request timeout is on hop 6. Here is without VPN:

Without VPN, the pages are more likely to just not load at all. VPN helps, but does not resolve the issue.
