I just saw sessions went up to $1,500 per session. It'll be interesting to see if UMPI will will honor the $1,400 rate since I was already accepted for the fall start. My guess is if they do, it'll only be good for the first session, but maybe I'll be surprised.

There is nothing for them to honor. You were accepted into the program to being for Fall (2023), that acceptance to enroll as a student was in no way connected to the cost of tuition at the time you attend. They announced the 2023/2024 YourPace tuition increase earlier this month (still a bargain) - https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...rPace-Fees

We already have a thread stating tuition is increasing. Unless you have a tuition bill for Fall 1 with $1400 on it, then I don't see how they will honor it. The YourPace website has been updated to say tuition is $1500 per session. Nothing is locked in until that tuition bill has been generated. And this has always been on the website:
*Tuition and fees are subject to change

As per the previous thread, you're still getting an amazing bargain... It's the same price as the South Texas and TAMUC at $1500/session...

*Tuition and fees are subject to change I can see how this was posted without realizing there was already a thread. As I scrolled through the topics, I also didn't see at a glance that this was already mentioned. I think her $1500 on the thread title also makes it stand out fast for the next person who comes on here looking to discuss it.

For the MAOL, it's still a great deal at $2,150 Flat-rate tuition per session – no course limit
Two sessions would be $4,300 flat if you finish... Link: https://www.umpi.edu/yourpace/maol/

I mean considering the inflation the US economy has been dealing with the last few years, it doesn’t really surprise me they increased tuition this year. I honestly thought it would be more, it’s not bad at all.

Tuition almost always goes up at every college, every year, and unless they have some sort of program where you are "locked in" at a specific amount, then you are not going to get the same price every year - it WILL go up. This is extremely common, and I'm going to guess 90% of colleges don't lock in your tuition for a full 4 years.
