Georgia State University Online Associates
#1
I just noticed Georgia State offers a great price for its associates degree tuition.

https://online.gsu.edu/learn-about-tuition/

$3,350 per year (30 credits) x 2 years = $6,700 (60 credits).  This is for both resident and non-resident.

Yes, there are cheaper options out there, but this comes with a degree and alumni status from a solid state university.  A nice way to start off your bachelors degree hunt at other schools like UMPI etc.

Yes, if you transfer lots of CLEP exam credits, I'm sure you can finish the AS degree in one year.

Waste of money, you can get your bachelors in the same amount of time for not much more using the normal alt credit strategies.

For $6700 you can complete a bachelor's degree in under a year at UMPI, Excelsior, and TESU. An associate degree doesn't do much when job searching these days unfortunately.

There's no reason to get an AA/AS just to get "alumni status from a solid state university" when you plan on going onto another school like UMPI or TESU. Not many people care where you got an AA/AS, and they certainly aren't impressed when you don't actually go on to get your bachelor's from that same school.

Instead, save your money & time for the BA/BS.
