Any Luck with Ph.D. Stipends? Scholarships?

Anyone had any luck with a Ph.D. stipend or scholarship? I applied to 2 programs I found in the Dr. Sage FB group the UAC and the TWU ones, a friend of mine was faculty at TWU suggested me ask them about a stipend.

My other option is the Ph.D. in Leadership at Cumberlands.

I was looking into the DBA at South College but I think I would prefer a Ph.D. since I am not in a hurry.

Assistantships, which are the source for most stipends, are almost non-existent for online programs. Other stipends usually come from fellowships.
