EdX MicroBachelors letter grade question

Is there anyway to receive letter grades for these courses? It is very convoluted understanding the transcribing process to see if it is even worth it. It looks like a good option if you are going to TESU and CR on transcript doesn't matter but they aren't the cheapest option if they don't transcribe to a letter grade. Is the Mircrobiology course from SNHU not able to transcribe a letter grade as if it were done at SNHU? I just see it is listed as CR type of course to TESU which makes no sense even from a competition standpoint between the two schools. It's a promising format but rolled out in way it misses its mission statement to get people credit and started on the degree path. Curious if anyone knows about at least if the SNHU science courses (micro, AnP) if it is worth taking or just do something more common sense like Portage Learning through Geneva College.....why Edx didn't roll it out like that partnership is baffling. 

By the lack of information on this awesome forum relating to the microbachelors course, it seems other sources are better established and not a recommended source of credit.

It's a promising format but rolled out in way it misses its mission statement to get people credit and started on the degree path.

I think that's the best summary for the whole program. The fact that TESU, the transcribing university partner, won't even take the credits for anything other than their BACS degree makes negative sense and goes against the mission statement as well.

OK so it is a not worth the time then....seems like Geneva College (Portage) is probably the best place for selfpaced letter grades for science prereqs currently. I see nursing/premed/PA students using Portage so great to see there are examples of success out there. This promising EdX program seems to be doomed to failure in its current incarnation.

The way I read most of these microbachelor's programs, you don't get college credit unless you enroll in the specific program at the specific school and maybe only if you graduate from it. That's consistent with TESU only granting credit towards the BACS.
