I basically have all my requirements for my BLS minor, I want to retake courses that I bought in that were past/fail grades so they can now be a letter grade and meet the residency requirement. Has anyone done this? Thanks in advance for your responses.

It's usually recommended to add a second minor if you need more credits.

No matter how many credits you have transferred in only 90 will apply to your degree program. What courses do you have left to complete? Your degree evaluation form from Jessica will show what you have remaining.

Thanks for the responses. I'm talking about credits that were applied to my degree program and I want to duplicate the class.

You can repeat a class. If you have more than 90 credits, only 90 will be applied to your degree program. You still have to complete a minimum of 30 credits at UMPI. Your degree evaluation form will list what you still need to complete.

I'm very aware of the degree requirements I already have an audit.i have completed all the requirements. If I took a class from another source brought it over and I want to take said class again at umpi will that fulfill my 30 residency requirements.

Can you post your audit, with personal information removed?

I don't think anyone that has actually done this with them. You'd need to contact your advisor and see what they said. Just so you're aware, your previous grades that you transfer in do not count towards your GPA at UMPI. If you retake it it will count.

I repeated a course that transferred in. The descriptions were different so I was allowed to repeat the course.

@ejel55, to answer the question, yes you can. Pretend you have transferred in 90 credits and completed the 30 credits at UMPI for your minor. You already have residency credits met, and you want to bump up the GPA by taking more UMPI courses to replace some of the 90 credits. Sure, that'll work, you can take as many as you need to bump up that GPA of yours. This is for the internal GPA at UMPI and also for your overall GPA if you get good grades, it does not affect your previous GPA at other institutions you have attended.
