Wow! YourPace is really growing. When I started UMPI in Fall 2020, there were around 50 students at that time. I see why they are having some growing pains. At one point, the cap for YourPace was to be 400 students. They're awfully close and came up to this number much faster than they had anticipated. If you're struggling to reach Jessica, this is why. Looks like she's still the only academic advisor. How she can keep track of 375 students, I'll never know.
UMPI’s YourPace program continues to demonstrate strong growth in undergraduate offerings, with 375 students enrolled for the first 8-week fall semester session, and 291 enrolled already for the second fall session, putting both at more than a 50% increase over last year.

I would bet soon, just through word of mouth, UMPI Yourpace will have thousands of students.
This would be great since they will likely start adding more programs, such as Psychology, Computer Science/IT, etc.
When applying to UMPI, be sure to stay on top of your application to make sure you get enrolled. We recently had a couple of students who missed their term due to not getting enrolled before the deadline.
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.

This is pretty neat to hear. UMPI's YourPace is a really great deal and I've been enjoying my first several days working through it.
Just hope they're able to keep up with all the new students lol

New programs would be amazing. UMPI already has an online non-CBE Psychology degree, so maybe a YourPace version is not too far behind.

Yeah, they've got the Online options for English, History, and Psychology already. Your Pace has the English (although Journalism) and History, it's missing the Psychology though. They may already have something in the works, may just need approval and demand...

I really appreciate UMPI's offerings. My brother is working towards a program there and I am thinking of maybe going in for their history program.

I wish they'd ramp up the hiring as well. It doesn't do much good to have a 50% increase in students, but not increase the people handling those same students. Making the road as smooth for the newbies as it was for the first people through shouldn't be an issue.

And replace the Enrollment Specialists with an in-house team, change some policies and processes so it is more efficient/effective. Some of the staff actually are UMPI or even Your Pace graduates, when I skimmed through their staff directory, so promoting within first and then get some more staff through a hiring phase.

I'm glad it's growing.
They did hire a few more professors, but, they did focus more on curriculum designers over actual adjuncts from what I could see. One of the new ones is a known YouTuber about college hacking.
I'm glad to see growth. I'm willing to bet a huge portion of their students are coming to them because of DegreeForum and DegreeForum pioneering YourPace when there was no information about it. They've come along way since ss and I went there.

I think the curriculum designers are to help with the move from Strut to Brightspace. At least to some degree because they're rewriting some classes. It will be interesting to see what changes happen once the move is complete.
The YouTuber professor I have a hard time taking seriously. His hacking video has so much incorrect info in it! I'm not sure I'd hire someone like that if I wanted my program to be taken seriously.
When I enrolled there was virtually no information. I figured I'd be the guinea pig. If it was awful, it was only 8 weeks so not a big deal and for $1400 why not give a shot? Who knew it would be as amazing as it? It seemed too good to be true based on my many years of butts in the seats programs.

Agree with Jessica! She must sleep like a baby every night. Her work ethic is off the charts. Hopefully, she is getting a team of support under her soon to support all of this growth.
