Is anybody studying film?

Film has always been something that's inspired and intrigued me, and I would love to do something in the film industry when I'm done with school. Does anybody have a similar goal? What experiences have you had studying film?

I've found that it's hard to get started! The classes I've tried to take have always been full, and I'm excited that I've finally got into my first film class. I guess it's just a popular course of study!

Not really film per say but photography, yes. I just recently start taking a few classes online dealing with photography. Photography is one of those things that are easy to learn and you may never master.

I took a course called Literature & Film at my CC. We compared famous literary works with their film adaptations. The professor was very much into pop culture, so we studied everything from Richard III to Clueless (loosely based on Emma by Jane Austen). The class also introduced us to basic film concepts and jargon. As I remember, it was a very popular class with a waiting list.

I am taking a Film & Literature course at Excelsior starting Sept 8th.

It looked like a pretty cool class and sounds much like the class Sunshine described except it is Upper Level credits at Excelsior.
