NCCRS is now taken at the University of Maine at Fort Kent. The University of Maine typically shares transcripts and professors as of now. I shot an email over to Jessica asking if UMPI will now honor it because Fort Kent now takes it. In addition to this, I saw that several Ivy League schools will now accept NCCRS. In addition to this, some of the top universities in California will (CalState, Loma Linda, etc). I sent Jessica a list of some of the best schools in the country and evidence that they take NCCRS.

Hopefully soon new students can also do NCCRS courses.
Thanks

One thing bad about NCCRS is that you can't put everything in one place like you can with most ACE credits.

Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.

Agreed.
I'm not a fan of Credly, but if ACE is going to use a third party, NCCRS might as well join the club. Pearson should make the push.

The only thing I like about Credly/yourAcclaim is it was cheaper than sending on Parchment and the old ACE transcript portal lol

I probably wouldn't mind Credly so much of ACE hadn't completely bungled the transition and lost some of us some credits in the process

I find it hard to believe that CSU schools will accept NCCRS. It's hard enough to get them to take CLEP, and none took DSST's that I was aware of, so I'm not seeing NCCRS if they don't take much ACE credit. I started searching, and couldn't find a school that had NCCRS on their websites.

Good stuff, I think having NCCRS is a great addition, especially since they take NA on a case by case basis already... if they can readily take NA courses without such evaluations, it'll be an easier option to transfer courses into UMPI as well. I hope they'll be as good as Excelsior in terms of accepting "alternative friendly and NA/NCCRS" credits for transfer towards their degrees.

Which NCCRS classes are not being accepted?
I sent mine in regular via SDC transcript and they were added to UMPI with no problem.

SDC has an agreement and equivalence table with UMPI. It is a partner school.
Check it here: https://study.com/college/school/umpi.html

Most Study courses are ACE. They have 1 NCCRS course that UMPI accepts.
