[QUOTE=DetroitSki]So, I've been plugging away at my Emergency Management Bachelor's at TESC for about 8 months now. I'm about 9 credits away (3 exams) + my Practium. But, I decided, just for the heck of it I'd send in a letter to my Fire Department and express interest in a position in Emergency Management. I detailed my FEMA certs, explained my situation at TESC and "PRESTO">>
HOLY COW!!! THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations, I guess you found your practicum site then ![]()

Feels great to be at the next level of my career. But, I have not decided to take the gig just yet. A lot of pension implications and labor stuff. Gotta really think it thru.
But, feels GREAT to have the option.
