Capella Lawsuit

Capella said the lawsuit was without merit but I'm thinking that's not the case.  They settled the case out of court after an unfavorable ruling by the Judge.

I have seen students post reports about their doctoral degree programs. There have been reports of these programs taking longer than expected and the school trying to max out the financial aid.

Some students run out of financial aid and end up having to drop out as a result.

From what I've read from Capella and Walden students and various lawsuits is that the main problems are high faculty turnover and delays in approving steps in the dissertation process. It's not uncommon for students to go through multiple chairs, and those chairs can have different ideas on how the study should be conducted and how the dissertation should be written.
