For instance, they list "Intro to Sociology" as a required course. BUT, my bet is, you need to take a Social Science course, and Intro to Soc is what they offer in this program. So if you have a different Social Science course, it may work in place of Intro to Soc. But VERY unclear. No bueno, I hate that.
We can probably tentatively figure that out by checking the CBE program landing page course list against the CNM catalog…

I looked at all of the degrees they offer through the CBE program; it's hard to even figure out what they require in the business degree vs which is GE.
But I did try to check against their regular catalog, and it's not at all clear.

It looks like the current spring flex path began in January. So it seems like you would have to begin at the start of the semester. Is that right?

The only degree currently offered through CBE is the AAS in Business Administration

This is the list of required courses. It’s 22 courses, the Capstone is 1 credit, so 64 credits total. That’s an AAS. It doesn’t seem like the college GE applies to this program, @dfrecore.
At least, that’s the way I’m reading it.

It's interesting that they are doing this. I wonder when they launched. The NM state governor just announced the Opportunity Scholarship not too long ago, which covers NM residents for college certificates and up to a bachelors degree free. The only thing is that it seems the student still needs to be able to fill out the FASFA, and then whatever is not covered by that the Opportunity Scholarship covers.

I think they launched in 2019. At least that's what I understood from this link:

I was trying to figure out if they would swap anything out, that's the part that's unclear.

Maybe someone intending to take the AAS from CNE ask in regards to see if they would "swap" a course with a similar one you've taken through ACE or another RA source. I think they're flexible enough to do so as some of the course names are different, but the course content may be very similar.
