Oh yeah, when I was younger, I haven't had any college rejection email or mail either! Well, with that much in scholarship cash... she can "Take that to the bank!". I wonder what other colleges she applied to, I assume mostly local, public, research or state colleges, maybe even a few private and even for-profit ones...

That’s amazing. Glad to read she plans to be a veterinarian. I know there is a shortage of them.

I suppose that in a way it's impressive but, to be honest, I don't really see the point. Probably more than half of them were not being seriously considered. I think that when I first went to college I applied to 5 or 6 schools. If you're actually thinking about the relevant factors, I can't see the sense in applying to more than 10. But that's just me.

Good for her I guess? That's a lot of application fees and filling out forms when most of them probably weren't seriously considered by her.

She wouldn't have spent a fortune on the application fees or the transcript fees...
I think she applied to all that didn't have app fees, the transcripts are another story.

Even with near-perfect GPA and ACT/SAT, it's may not be a free ride, especially for an out of state school

Some schools will give free tuition if your parent's income is low enough to cover what the Pell Grant doesn't pay. That may not cover room and board though.

I can't imagine writing all of those essays. Seems like there's a competition out there on social media today about how many schools one can get accepted into. I've seen different posts about different kids the last few years who apply like this.

Better that than the cinnamon challenge, the Tide Pod challenge, or the milkcrate challenge. At least this gives you skills that can be useful later in life.
