Yes. You have to fill out the online form for it. It was emailed to students a few weeks ago. Check your UMPI email account.
I don't have anything about graduation in my email. I do still have classes to complete in the 2nd session, though. Maybe that's why.

I kind of want to go but it's so far out there lol. It'd cost me over a thousand dollars to go to stay a weekend there.

Same! And I want to take my two kids, so that's more plane tickets, etc. But I really want my boys to see me walk. We've endured a lot the last few years and this is a major accomplishment for me/us. They've had to sacrifice for it, too. But if we don't go, we will have a HUGE party and I will make a big deal out of it for their sakes as much as mine!

That's probably why. You should ask Jessica about it.

Well, my last two finals were submitted today. I have a BREAK next week before session 2!! Woohoo!
I only got 6 classes done this time and I was pushing for 7, but that is ok! I am SO excited to know I only have one more session before graduating!

My fifth class was just graded. I have received all 4s in every competency, which I hope means a 4.0, but I have 46% of a long class (two milestones and a PowerPoint presentation) yet to complete to finish my sixth and last for this session, and am feeling a bit frantic, especially since PowerPoints take me forever. Looking forward to having a weekend off between sessions and, fortunately, my course load will not be as heavy next session. I truly have no idea how anybody finishes 10+ competencies in a session. Seems a superhuman feat to me at this point.

I did 8 1 term and couldn't wait for it to end. I was soooo happy it was the second fall session so I had a looooong break before going back in the spring. I can't imagine 10+ courses. My brain just can't handle that much.
Since you didn't submit the PowerPoint by Friday at midnight you won't get to submit a rough draft. Do your best to make it extra awesome. PowerPoints take me awhile too. I tend to obsess over making them decent. I'm rarely happy with the images and graphics. The voiceovers I do a whole bunch of times....hate my voice!

I'm done. I have finished 14 courses in one session (not including YourPace orientation course), in addition to the unjustifiably difficult ICC's Managerial Accounting. It was not an easy task, especially with a full-time job, but it's doable nonetheless.
I might write a separate thread on my experience with UMPI. There is enough information on UMPI already, but I believe that some commonly offered advises were not optimal (at least for me). Also, some students have reported their negative experiences with courses and Professors. My experience was quite the opposite, so I feel that my positive feedback would complete the picture for future students.
