Does anyone know of a more or less comprehensive word list for the vocabulary on the Spanish CLEP exam?
I am starting from scratch in Spanish (no prior background) and need to get a 63 in this test within 3 months from now. That's ambitious, I know. So please give any advice you can, but the one thing I cannot find prior advice about on this forum is a word list of vocab that will appear on the exam.
CLEP background: Taken a few. Got a 78 on calculus after 3 weeks of solo study, with no prior background. That was a fun challenge, but it's clear Spanish will be a much, much bigger challenge.
Thank you! You people on this forum are wonderful.

I have never heard anyone talk about a word list.
I know that SpanishHour is a 50-day program to learn Spanish well enough to pass the CLEP. No idea how well it works, or even how much it costs (used to be free). But it certainly can't hurt.
I think some members on this forum use Duolingo to learn languages. Again, no idea how well it would work to pass the CLEP.
Good luck though! Let us know how you do.

I doubt there is a set vocab lists for this test. I don't think a 63 is too tall of an order for this exam as I have heard it is on the easy side. Those people may have had a background in Spanish however. I was planning on going the French CLEP route but I have just been out of High School and not using the French I learned for a bit to long to even bother trying it. I would say focus on leaning major conversational type stuff, and also make sure you include listening to Spanish as a study tool. There is a lot of questions that will talk to you quick and you have to pick the best reply to it. I don't believe you are able to replay it either.

Hello!
I don't have any experience with Spanish, but I have taken other languages, and these are very helpful.
