Apollos DBA in AI, DBA in IT

As many of you already know, Apollos is not RA. However, if that doesn't matter, they now offer their DBA with two new specializations: artificial intelligence and information technology. The programs cost under 19k.

I copy/pasted the info from Chris on the sister board.  What's more interesting is the replies in regards to ENEB/Universidad Isabel I Masters.  A member indicated that they will accept propios degrees for entry.  So, technically *if* it works that way, you can get an MBA/Masters propios and an NA DBA for under $20K also bypassing the need for a NACES evaluation, apparently it's done in-house at Apollo...

The first sentence says the school is not RA. There's no way to change that unless the school applies for and is approved for RA.

I think it's just a gimmick. AI is a technical thing, you need a technical degree, not a DBA.

Most of U of Cumberlands degrees hover above $25-27k, up to 30K I recall, I'm not sure how one can score cheaper, can you advise how that is done? It seems interesting, alas, I am also mainly looking for RA too <sigh>, UK schools are starting to stand out more for me...

I agree, if you want to work in the AI field, a MS in AI would be better, this is more suited for those who want to be Executives and lead a team instead. It's a DBA with a concentration in AI, the concentration is only 18 credits I think. It's a DBA not an AI degree.

If you do the EdD program (cost $375 Per credit) with a specialization focus on Information Systems and you have a previous degree you can transfer in 18 credits. Tuition alone will be about 19.5k not including the other fees. Still, a steal in my book as it is RA and in the technology field a degree gives you an advantage.
Now if we look at the DBA or PHD option it cost more as classes cost $500 per hour with the transfer credits it should be 23-24k just for the courses alone without the fees. DBA and PHD programs require more credits. (DBA does not have a technology focus) 
Either way looking to spend another few grand is worth it in my book.
