Question on Transcripts

Thanks very much. My tummy tells me it would likely be the same from SDC then so long as I do transcripts direct from them

Have a terrific day

I can't say what Study.com's transcripts look like at UMPI. I didn't take any classes there. I don't know if they include a score.

IIRC, you can choose to send a score when you send SDC transcripts. But that choice only works if the school itself hasn't told SDC which way they want the transcripts. TESU and COSC want transcripts a particular way and they'll get sent that way by SDC regardless of the choice you make. I don't know if the same holds true for UMPI.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

To confirm this I reached out to SDC and got the following response;

For University of Maine at Presque Isle, we send the "direct from Study.com" transcript with a percentage grade.

Thanks for all your help folks!!

I don't think UMPI shows them anymore. My SDC courses were the same. The only grades that showed were the ones I transferred from an actual SUNY school.

Did you send your Sophia classes through Credly or Parchment?
Hi! I sent them through Parchment first, but then I had to send the Credly to get other Ace credits transferred.

Did you send the transcript through Parchment or Credly? Mine are from Parchment and I have numeric grades.

How long did it take to send your transcript from Sophia ... from requesting and then getting to the hands of UMPI electronically? IS Parchment or Credly faster?

Credly should be instant. It's also free. Parchment can take a couple of days and it costs $5. But, if you want the grades to transfer to UMPI, Parchment is the only way to do that.

Parchment was sent the same day and UMPI received it the same day. That doesn't mean it's processed that day. It takes several weeks for the Registrar to process all of your transcripts when you apply.

Nothing is instant. It may be sent right away but it's not received instantly. Parchment took a few hours to be sent and received by UMPI.
