Google IT support from Coursera qualify ACE credit

Not sure I have anything useful on that front.  I got an unsolicited email from Acclaim on 9/20/2019 to my Coursera registered email address with the subject "Coursera issued you a new badge", from admin@youracclaim.com, which invited me to "accept" the new badge.  That was months after my completion date, probably due to Coursera starting their integration with Acclaim around then.

I already had a profile with Acclaim, registered on a different email address from my Coursera email.  I think it steered me in to making a second temporary Acclaim account with my Coursera email, and then merging with my other older Acclaim account.

It might be worth trying a post to the "completer's forum" on Coursera, or the general Professional Certificates forum there.  Sometimes Coursera staff respond there.

I posted on the forum early last week. Still haven't gotten an answer that pushes the credit to me. It's weird it seems like none of them know what ACE credit, Credly, Acclaim is.

Hello --burnside91--,

The ACE credit recommendations would only apply to those that complete the course on 9/1/2019 – 8/30/2022. My apologies for any setbacks.

Next question... I wonder if I can manage to have someone at Google/Coursera reset my progress and allow me to take it again.

I suppose I might be able to just create a second Coursera account and take it again -- but it all seems a bit inelegant.

Perhaps that would yield two Acclaim transcripts, one with my Google/Coursera "take 2", or have Google/Coursera listed on my main Acclaim transcript, but once with the 2019 participation, and again with the ACE recommended 2021 participation.

It would be a drag to take it a second time, but the prospect of getting 12 credits is just too irresistible.

In case anyone is curious, I'll report back if I have any success getting credit anyway.  Maybe Pierpont or WGU will grant me the 12 credits anyway, even though my participation was before it was ACE CREDIT recommended.

If you read Coursera's FAQs and whatnot, you're not supposed to have multiple Coursera accounts. A quick Google search shows that there are multiple threads about resetting progress on Coursera and there is currently no way to do this. https://coursera.community/study-tips-6/...ivity-7777
