Wow, that is exciting. A new examination program! "Uexcel" looks like a partnership between Pearson and Excelsior, and it appears if they are going after the CLEP and DSST market by offering exams in that price range ($85). It will be interesting to see what exam titles will be offered as the catalog expands.

Uexcel Exams through Pearson, in partnership with Excelsior, is offering free exam for college credit during their beta testing phase. These exams will normally cost $85. It says students must meet "minimum requirements", whatever those are. If you pass the exam you get credit sent to the college of your choice. Grades will not be assigned until this Fall when the testing phase is complete.

Great news, those will be offered at Vue test centers, which are available worldwide, without any admin fees.
I will be compairing the intro to Psy to the Clep study materials. I am pretty sure I will sign up for this intro to Psychology
