BSBA at TESU or BALS Business Concentration at EC

Now that TESU has changed it transfer policy,  I was looking for advice.  Do you think it is possible to finish courses needed for TESU BSBA by March 1st (other than the capstone and cornerstone)  or should we change to EC BALS with Business Concentration (since I read that BSBA not possible without taking additional courses from EC)?  So far my son has roughly 87 credits if they are all accepted.

I think a lot of it depends on your son, but the first question I'd ask is if he's already applied/enrolled at TESU. If not, I believe the cutoff has already came and went.

I am applying or have applied to TESU on or after January 1, 2021. Can I have more than 45/90 credits from ACE/NCCRS sources accepted in transfer to my degree program?
No. The policy clarification is that TESU will accept and apply up to 45/90 credits total from all ACE/NCCRS sources combined.

He applied in the middle of December, but still waiting on TESU

In that case, that'd be ~9 courses in about a month and a half. That's 2 courses every week if he wants to make sure that everything is done and at TESU by the deadline. Some people could do that but I think most would struggle. The UL courses aren't exactly the easiest things to finish quickly.

I am unclear about which courses are completed. Can you edit your initial post? There are duplicates, it's hard to see if you're saying he has passed all of those or are planning them, etc.

I'm assuming he's at least 18, which leaves several options:

1) Stick with TESU, and send in everything you have now; then, 
 - Priority #1 is to quickly do your 4 UL AOS courses by March 1;
 - Priority #2 is to finish the 2 core courses;
 - Priority #3 is the diversity course,
 - Priority #4 is the 1 free elective course
 - and to make all of this easier, I'd probably do BUS 120: International Business, BUS 308: Globalization and International Management, MARK 303: Global Marketing, and FIN 302: International Finance because they have some overlap; then maybe do BUS 113: Business Communication and BUS 324: Managerial Communication because that will have some overlap
 - this way, if he can do at least 6 courses in 2 months, then if he can't finish #3, he can take Intro to Soc at a cheap RA school like Luna CC ($40/cr) or NMJC ($70/cr) or TEL Learning ($67/cr); and then take 1 additional course at the same school.  You can also just do a LL TECEP to make it a little easier as well ($50/cr).

2) Switch to EC for a BSLA w/AoF in Business to not have to stress as much - and it's cheaper than TESU
 - take 2 UL Business courses
 - take 5 additional UL courses in Arts & Sciences (GE), and you could also choose to have a 2nd AoF this way
 - take 1 additional UL course in whatever you want (business is easy to find)
 - option to take just the 3 courses at EC for a total cost for tuition of $5300 - of take the 3 + 2 add'l for $5850 (I love this deal, and it's an easy way to get 2 UL courses towards an AoF)

3) Switch to COSC for a BSBA (this can still be done), although it will require you to take your UL courses through Study.com, and then go back and get RA credit via one of the methods mentioned above (so you'll have extra credits when all is said and done) - but this is still cheaper than TESU, and probably EC as well

4) Switch to an entirely different school, like a competency-based program at WGU, Walden Tempo, or UMPI.

I would probably do a couple of months at Study.com to gather as many UL credits as possible, and then decide at that point what you want to do; none of these are bad options, so you can't really go wrong no matter which way you go.
