Are there any other low cost Universites besides the big ?

University of the People will let you transfer in 90 credits, including ACE-recommended.

You will have to earn 30 credits through UotP. They charge $17 per course you want transferred in. So if you transfer 30 courses, that's $510. You will pay $120 for each of the 10 UotP courses you take. So that's another $1200. Application fee is $60. So, about $1770 plus whatever it cost to get the 90 credits.

Each UotP course is on a term schedule, 8 weeks. There are 5 terms in a year, and you can take 2 courses per term, sometimes 3. So you could do that in a year.

UotP is currently (12/2020) nationally-accredited, not regionally-accredited. As I understand it, there is little acceptance of NA credits by RA schools. You can transfer RA, NA, and ACE credits TO UotP, but good luck transferring NA credits to an RA school offering a comp sci bachelors.

I THINK these are the core AOS courses you need for computer science:

Programming fundamentals
Programming 1
Programming 2
Computer Systems
Databases 1
Communications and networking
Web programming 1
Operating systems 1
Software engineering 1
Data structures
Web programming 2
Databases 2
Operating systems 2
Comparative programming languages
Data mining and machine learning
Discrete mathematics
Calculus

That's 17 courses. Depending on your wants, you could do 7 of them outside of UotP and xfer them in. Just be aware that whatever courses you took at UotP have limited transferability. If you take a couple of courses then decide you won't follow through, well it didn't cost you much money. It WILL cost you the time and effort you put into the not-so-easy courses.

You also need to be aware that UoP is Nationally Accredited and not Regionally Accredited. National sounds like it should be better or more important than Regional but it is not. For a lot of situations, the distinction doesn't matter. But it does matter for at least some people/situations. For instance, from what I can tell, Germany doesn't count a degree from a NA institution as being a "valid" degree.

If you are in Europe or plan to move to Europe, take a good long look at the acceptance policies of the country you plan to move to and whether or not a NA degree will matter in the long run.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210
