To give you something else to look into. UMPI has a competency based program. They offer a BA in English. I checked with admissions and they DO accept international students into the YourPace program which is their competency based online program. Please let me know if you have any questions about UMPI. I don't mind helping you out. I am a current student so I know how the program works.

Hey! Thank you! dfrecore has actually mentioned UMPI and we were strongly considering, especially after reading your thread about your experiences with them. I sent them a quick email asking if they would accept TECEP and they quickly answered they would (while it took 2 or 3 days for SNHU to answer they won't). But we have left UMPI aside because they only accept 30 ACE credits, we are afraid it may end up being too expensive or the same as TESU, in case she ends up using more sessions (as we pay by session). Also, the concentration of the English degree at UMPI is a bit off of what she would like to study. She has been considering TESU BALS since is cheaper than BA Eng. and likely faster as well, as pointed out by bjcheung77 and others.

It settles the plan to continue with TESU.
Did you ask about this? It doesn't sound right. The registrar may have not understood what the TECEP was. I'd contact them and discuss this.
I did ask, I shoot the emails before I saw your message here that TECEP is obviously accepted, that's why I also posted their answer.
I'm also sure they understood clearly what I meant by TECEP. This is their answer (I removed the name in the signature):
Quote:Beto,
Yes, we award credit for Study.com courses. But no, not for Thomas Edison exams.
Best wishes,
