Hi everyone,
I have to admit I have been playing the Lottery with Clep/Dsst/ECE exams, since I am able to take them for free.
I did not know about this site until, I saw it on 123collegedegree.com
I am taking exams everyday on base Mon-Thur at my education office, and they are all paper exams and no computer tests, you are allowed to take one exam per day.
I have taken all of them COLD!hilarious
I passed 33 credits worth so far and failed Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Juvenile Del with a D, Ethics with a F, Hears to your Health, Speech,
I have over 160 college units lower and upper from testing, college, and tech school.
I like the exam way because it is quick, I am taking CJ DSST tomorrow and some more on Mon and Tue of 9 & 10 June 08.
I took the ECE Public conflict from 1900 and on today and I felt good about it

I have taken all of these exams cold and took English comp twice to pass on the second go around.
I have also failed at least 6 exams over the years with out studying for them. Humanties was easy for me, because I was stationed in Amsterdam and went to the Lourve in Paris on a 3 day weekend, to check out the art scene and culture in Paris, it was pretty sweet.
I am taking criminal justice this morning at 0830 today , but I did use instacert to study a little bit, so I will tell you how it goes!

I just finished the CJ test and it was not difficult at all, I just used IC flashcards to review for about 2 hours and that was enough, alot of common sense questions and court cases. It is VERY DOABLE WITH INSTACERT!!! Just study the day before and you will pass the test easily. My test was 100 questions paper based.

My base is really pushng us to get our CCAF and BA/BS degrees since it is work and duty related THEY are REQUIRED to give us the time for appts Duty Permitting, of coarse!
So, I try and do 1 test everyday Mon thru Thur if can.
The Education Office Nazi , does not like us taking cleps or dssts and ece exams, she thinks we need to enroll in real colleges and take REAL CLASSROOM Clsses! She is a pain in the @$$ , she refuse to send off for my Unoffical Test Transcripts and inform as to what ECE exams are available on base for me to take.

Sounds like you are USAF, too. I have found the Army, Navy and civilian test sites to be the most accommodating... It's like the USAF turns its nose up at CLEP/DSST/ECE, or something. Well I guess they wont think it was such a bad idea when I walk in commissioned.

I'm just giving you a hard time because I work in purgatory, a.k.a inside all day, in front of a computer, 24hr shop, no lunch break, get looked at as a dirt bag for making any appointments during shift, no hoilday....you get the picture.
I do agree on the testing center giving a hard time, mine is ridiculas. They are booked months out, and when it comes time to test, there are ALWAYS 2 or 3 no shows. So I stopped scheudling and just go when I feel like it because there should be atleast one empty seat.
The man in charge of the education office, also gives me a hard time, always asking me "why are you always here" or "what you doing". I think they are just jealous that we are not wasting time on college and getting all these credits for free.
