Some courses that utilize Adobe Flash Player in delivering their content (such as TEEX, etc) are experiencing some difficulties with Flash player. I read the player will be completely discontinued after 2020. Any news on what replaces it and what happens to courses that are not updated with the new system?

That's a good question. It's obvious that the TEEX courses haven't really been updated in 3-5 years. Probably similar for those other courses. You'd have to contact each institution directly to see what they're planning to do about it.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Any provider working with licensed content will probably be moved over to a new platform (HTML 5, for example) once there is a need to do so.
For everyone else, my expectation is that unless the courses are very popular and "earning their keep" on an ROI basis, that most of the flash-based LMS tools will just be abandoned along with those courses. A lot of the TEEX courses are supported by US government grant money, so those courses are unlikely to be updated or moved to a new platform unless new funds are allocated.
