Does anyone know if Study.com CHEM 111L still transfers into TESU as CHEM 104? The website shows CHE-101 now which isn't usable for BS Tech Studies requirements. Not sure if that's a mistake or not. I read they downgraded CHEM 112L last year to 101 but I thought CHEM 111L was still ok to use.
Is there any non community college CHEM 1/lab that is usable still? Straighterline CHEM was downgraded to 101 (survey course) a while ago also.

Will CHM 114 - General Chemistry for Engineers on ASU EA work? According to the TESU transfer credit guide, it should transfer in as CHE 121 - General Chemistry I W/Lab. If you sign up now for the august 2020 term, starting on the 18th, you can still get it at the $99 rate.

To be adequately prepared for the mathematics required in this course, a recommended prerequisite course is MAT 170 Calculus. The prerequisite course should be taken first to ensure that the course credits will transfer to your institution, including ASU.
I have 0% interest in taking Calculus. Lol

I don't know if you're going to be able to get around the calculus requirement, especially for physics/chemistry II. ASU also has precalc and calculus as self-paced options that you could take between now and the 18th.

Thanks for the replies. At this point, it may be fastest/easiest to just study for the Chem CLEP for a month and just take the two labs at TESU to make DEC graduation. I've wasted so much time back and forth trying to find something that will work for this degree requirement I'd likely be half finished by now if I just worked on the CLEP.
The only thing I need to graduate is:
PHYS 1/LAB <These 2 are the only major roadblock to DEC.
CHEM 1/LAB < ^^^^^
Eng Comp II (Sophia)
Proj Man (SDC)
SOS-110 (August registered)
Current Trends Capstone (August registered)

At least English Composition II is easy - Sophia. Sophia also has intro to project management but I'm guessing that you probably need an UL course and not a 200-level one. Could be a good way to familiarize yourself with the terms, though.

Yeah, I asked but Sophia Proj Man won't satisfy UL MAN-435 degree requirement. I wish it did as I like the Sophia format.

No, I wanted to be very sure about that detail so I got approval (in writing) to do 1 and 1 of each from the department head. I'm not sure if it's an exception or not. I did already have other 4cr Science/Labs I transferred in from a B/M University plus a bunch of other Science courses so maybe that's why they approved the request? I have no idea.

Why would you need calculus for Chem I? That's weird. I have only ever seen gen chem require algebra. Maybe the engineering aspect of it calls for calculus, but I mean most engineers take the same one I took that requires algebra.
