Hi everyone,
I am a new member, only a few weeks. I have been plugging away at a BA for what seems like forever. I enrolled at TESC in 2006 and finally completed the requirements for my AA last month. I didn't understand how CLEP tests worked until a few months ago, when I was on the Discussion Forum at TESC. To make a long story short I enrolled with instacert and scheduled my first CLEP for today (that was only about 3 weeks ago). I used Instacert and a study guide from another student at TESC and passed my Intro to Psych with a 66 just a few hours ago. I was a nervous wreck. I am hoping to CLEP 6 more classes and use FEMA courses to finish my degree requirements by August 2008 (2 semesters sooner than expected). Thanks in part to Instacert and the amazing stories on this board I hope to end this year with my degree in hand and start a Master's program in March 2009. (I sound like a commercial)

Well done with your first CLEP. I still remember my first test was at TESC the Psychology of Women TECEP. I had to wait about 2 weeks for the score I was a wreck.
Good Luck with the rest of your testing.

Hi
New Member also here for me today. I also took my first clep today too but I barely miss it. I score on History of the US II a 49 & I needed a 50. Man... I was so  cause I spend 7 days studying like crazy for this test. It was a good experience for me to see how it works cause I never tried clep before. I just changed university since I moved & I got to continue here were I left off. I did use the flash cards here & they did work great & I got to learn a lot for this test & it help me out but I got lots of questions about authors and other stuff that I wasn't prepared for. I purchased too the passyourclass clep book from ebay but that seem to be worthless cause maybe I saw one question of that book on the test if that. What help me the most was the IC cards. Know that I know what to expect I will keep eye to what other people experiences here on their exam so I can better prepare for other clep tests that I will be taking. Since I needed the history 2 clep test to eliminate one class of my requirements & I didn't pass I guess I'll be taking the class in SEP 08 so I can get it out of my way by DEC 08 then.

I plan to take the test for Spanish I & II tomorrow. I went through the CLEP official Study guide to see what to expect. Foe me it looks way to easy for me. Well it could be that I speak Spanish...hilarious Hopefully tomorrow I gain these 2 classes to the rest of my credits that I already got.
