Thank you!
Took sophia eng comp 1 within previous two months. Most grading was done within a week. They say to give them 7 business days. One of my essay was delayed and took almost 3 weeks due to a tech issue the grader was having. Customer service helped by extending the course due date. all worked out.

A few weeks ago before most of the "shelter in place" orders and business shutdowns, it took about ten days to get grades back for my Sophia papers. At that time, I was reliably getting credit on my ACENet account for completed Sophia courses within a few business hours. I haven't submitted any papers for grading, but it's taking about a week to get my ACENet credit now. YMMV.

Sophia does not have a specific age requirement, but with most sites that require you to create an account, it is federal law that you must be 13.

So I know that it says the offer is good through 07/31 but am I wrong in thinking that you actually have until October 30 to complete these? Since you have 60 days & a 30 day extension if needed.

You can actually even wait longer. You can "order" now and put the start date way ahead. Once it starts you have 60 + 30 if needed.

US History & American government will never duplicate. They are 2 different subjects.

I’ve heard some say to do this but I’m not seeing an option anywhere on desktop or mobile sites. Maybe I have to email them to change the start date? Could we also put a course on pause after enrolling?
Edit: I figured out how to change the date

Nope, it doesn't duplicate as they are different areas of study, or different in subject matter.

You can sign up for these and when signing up, enter a date 3 months from now. You can then change the date again before the course starts on that date. Rinse and repeat the process and you can have it done whenever you have the time, all the courses you need - sign up for everything but the Foundation courses unless you go to Excelsior or other schools that accept them as general education electives.

Even if the schools don't accept them I think the foundation courses are great to build your skills.
If your skills aren't ready for college algebra, for example, do foundations of algebra first to build your skills up. I did that and found Sophia's foundations of Algebra to really helpful prep for algebra and other advanced math courses. The foundations of Algebra lifted my confidence of what I could do math wise. And I personally didn't do foundations of stats or English but I browsed the course content and it looks like it could be helpful. If you aren't used to writing papers or your math skills aren't the greatest these might be good places to start espically since they are free.
