I passed the Dsst Intro to world religions with a 62!!! I took a week to prepare using IC and wikipedia. Instant cert was amazing to prepare for the exam. A couple of things to watch for : Don't skip the Native american and african american tradition/religion. It is only about 5% of the exam...but knowing the major ideas will earn you valuable points. Also, take each religion and wikipedia search it to get the major concepts and the "flow " of ideas. I find it easier to do that and then do the flashcards to cement the ideas and terms in your brain. As always, some of the most valuable information is in the explanation. Never, Never skip the explanation. Good luck.

I took DSST Technical Writing in Jan 08, it was not bad if you are good at writing, a lot of correct the sentence stuff. Know about Proposals, the parts of front and back matter, and abstracts. That is all I still remember.
