I'm going to need to learn up to Calculus II, and probably Statistics. If I took an ACE credit to meet the bare minimum requirements I would have to do:
Associate:
1 - Geometry
2 - College Algebra with Trig.
3 - Precalculus
B.S.
4. Calculus I
5. Calculus II
6. Statistics
(maybe) Differential equations
What if instead of spending the $$$ and open credits on all six, can I just Khan Academy, brilliant.org and then just do all the higher maths at my associates for 9 credits instead of 18 at half the cost, and open up 9 more electives for something else?
Associate:
1. Calculus I
2. Calculus II
4. Statistics or Differential equations
B.S.
4. Physics I
5. Chemistry I
6. Engineering elective
This would condense my degree, and allow me to focus the next 6 months on the calculus, physics, and chemistry saving time money.
