I just got this via email - wow, that's cold. I'm not writing 7k words worth of essays over the weekend, so I moved on to UExcel Social Psych. They notified people in advance for BUS108 though.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to inquire about this.
This change happened in order to allow Psychology 316 to count as upper-level credit rather than lower-level credit.
Indeed, it would have made sense to alert students about this beforehand, and I am sorry that we did not. That was an oversight and a mistake on our part
Please let me know if you have any questions about this.
Best regards,
The Study.com Team

I'm going to say that "cold" is ignoring you. Emailing you to say that they're sorry they didn't warn you ahead of time, and let you know what happened, is kind of the opposite of cold.
AND, since it was a LL course, and you need UL, it wouldn't have worked for you anyway.

I've moved on to UExcel for this course, so it's all gonna work out for me. Just wish they would have done a gradual transition, and offered to keep me in the LL version of the course. On the other hand, I was working on two other courses with SDC (history of psych and i/o psych) and I've never been so motivated to finish them, I was afraid they'd change the coursework on me again I finished both of those last night. I've loved SDC so far, but these latest changes are making the courses almost as time consuming as regular college courses. I wouldn't consider them a fast testing-out option anymore with quizzes, four large assignments, and a final.

That's correct, I was so flustered when I posted that thread I got my credits mixed-up.
