I was checking up in the ACE guide today and I noticed that the Shmoop literature classes that expired on 8/31/2019 have been extended to 12/31/2019. The math and history courses have not been extended yet. Considering how many alternatives there are for math and history, perhaps Shmoop is limiting their focus to those classes that they fill a unique niche in? That or maybe they just haven't got to those ones yet.

Quick follow-up: All of the courses that expired on 6/30/2019 have been extended to 6/30/2022 and all of the courses that expired on 8/31/2019 have been extended to 12/31/2019. Suffice to say, all of the Shmoop courses are good to go now (TESU's issues not withstanding).

That's great for COSC, Excelsior or other schools...
Yeah, sadly TESU doesn't take them...
Oh, does anyone recall if WGU take Shmoop?

WGU had previously refused to accept Shmoop due to the lack of a proctored exam. I don't know if they changed their mind since Shmoop offers proctored exams now. I would be quite surprised if they didn't since both WGU and Shmoop use the same proctoring service, ProctorU.

Ahh, but Shmoop doesn't require proctoring - they just offer it (ultimately I believe that is where the much of the problem lies).
WGU, like TESU, still does not accept Shmoop at this time.

After Shmoop was dropped by TESU & WGU, they required proctoring. However, it soon became clear that these colleges would not accept Shmoop (even WITH proctoring), so Shmoop switched to optional proctoring. Thus, proctoring does not appear to be the issue & it appears that there are other courses that TESU accepts without proctoring. (CPCU ethics, ALEKS, Sophia,etc.).

I think that courses that expierd on 8/31/2019 was actually extended, but courses that exiperd on 6/30/2019 was actually renewed under ACE requests.
